Tracking for AI-reported kernel bugs

Like syzbot for fuzzer-found bugs, an automated tracking layer for the findings of LLM review tools. Nothing extra is asked of maintainers.

  1. Collect

Ingests findings from AI review systems such as Sashiko and Clashiko, deduplicates them, and files each under its MAINTAINERS subsystem.

  2. Reproduce

An agent writes a reproducer for each finding and runs it in QEMU for a crash log. No reproducer is a strong sign of a false positive. The reproducer also shows what it takes to trigger the bug: unprivileged, user namespace or root.

  3. Draft a patch

A draft fix as a starting point, for human review. Fetch it with b4 am; drafts are never sent to the lists.

  4. Track the fix

Watches the mailing lists and git history, and marks a bug fixed once a fix lands.

For security reasons, access is limited for now to the addresses in the kernel MAINTAINERS file: some of these bugs may have security impact and are not yet fixed. The networking subsystem is fully covered so far; others follow.
